Observing My Senses

For Today, May 7, 2011...

I am seeing...a blue sky, white clouds, and trees moving in the breeze. Problem is, that breeze is really hot! The grass is happy, though. We got some rain the past 2 days and it's been refreshing.

I am feeling...thankful because my daughter is back and will be home tonight after working a concert for her friend.

I am hearing...my son playing with his 2 friends who came over today.

I am tasting...chocolate covered matzo. My son brought it home. It's tastier than I expected.

I am smelling...cakes. We're having a mother's day barbeque tomorrow and I was elected to bring cakes. That's my contribution to the moms in the family.

It just takes a moment to observe your surroundings. Won't you join me?
