Monday Quiz About Me

This fun blog hop provides 4 questions for everyone to answer, and the option to add my own fifth question to be answered here on my blog.  Are you up for it?  If so, hop on over to Heather's place, Acting Balanced.

1. What is the most interesting fact you have learned recently?
"Grapefruit juice negatively interacts with more than 50 medications, including statins. Because the effects of the citrus juice last more than 24 hours, simply taking your meds at a different time won't solve the problem."

2. The alarm goes off on Monday morning.  What is your first thought?
"Time for school."  Unless it's a holiday, then my first thought is, "Hallelujah!  I can sleep another hour!"

3. What is the most memorable movie line of all time?
This isn't a movie line per se, but it's my favorite line from one of my favorite cartoons.  ""I've learned three things never to discuss with people. Religion, politics, and the Great Pumpkin."

4. Describe a situation that always seems to try your patience.
Folks who are always late to everything.  I was taught that being late was rude and inconsiderate, but the culture in South Florida is very different, and people are almost expected to be late.  I find it difficult to tolerate.

And my question:

5. What was/is your favorite holiday cartoon?
For me, it's a toss-up.  I absolutely love all the Peanuts holiday specials, like The Great Pumpkin, the Thanksgiving special, and most of all A Charlie Brown Christmas.  But for my family, it's not Christmas till we watch The Grinch.  That will always be a classic in my book.
