Monday Quiz About Me

I cannot believe it's the last week of October, and what's more, in just 3 days it'll be November!  This year has flown by!  Since this is Halloween week, the Monday Quiz theme is Halloween questions.  The first 4 are provided by Heather at Acting Balanced.  The fifth question is one of my own, to be answered here on my blog.

1. Do you consider Halloween a holiday for children or adults?
I've always thought of it as a day for kids to dress up and ask for candy.  It seems, however, that the love of dress-up is never outgrown.

2. At what age should children stop trick or treating?
I think by 12 years of age most kids are over the trick-or-treating part and just want to dress up and maybe go to a party.

3. What are your plans for Halloween?
Our church sponsors a Trunk and Treat event on Halloween.  Folks come to the church with their trunks decorated with a theme of their choice, and they give out candy to the kids.  At the end of the night the best trunk gets a prize.  We won't be decorating a trunk ourselves but we'll be attending for the fun (and the candy of course).

4. What frightens you?
Rats.  Really, mice of any kind.  Large, small, black, white...they all creep me out.  I hate 'em.

And for my fifth question:

5. What candy do you look forward to eating?
I love vanilla Tootsie Rolls.  I can get most candy any time of the year, but I only see vanilla Tootsie Rolls around Halloween.

Since I am on a diet this year, no candy will work. I am going to be a good boy. Thanks for participating in the MQAM, hope to see you again next week.

I like Chinese-plum-flavored candy, though I don't know if it is available where you live.
Happy Halloween.
