Observing My Senses

For Today, December 15, 2012...

I am seeing...rain, and lots of it.  The sun will probably try to sneak out in a bit, but right now everything is drenched.

I am feeling...such profound sadness as I think of parents in Connecticut who will be getting up this morning to prepare funeral arrangements for their children.

I am hearing...my son clearing his throat.  I hope he isn't coming down with anything.

I am tasting...my morning coffee.

I am smelling...pancakes and sausages, ready to be eaten.

It just takes a moment to observe your surroundings.  Won't you join me?

Hi Arlene~

We got a little snow yesterday, moisture of any kind would be so welcomed here! Hope you don't get too soaked.

I can't even put into words the sorrow I feel today for the parents of those sweet children. My consolation is that yesterday, they truly touched the face of God. They are surrounded today by others who have passed before them, and are being bathed in love. Those left behind need our prayers of peace and comfort.

Hugs,
Barb
