Five Question Friday

I didn't get on the computer yesterday; I wasn't feeling up to it.  Now I have some catching up to do!  Here are my Five Answers to Five Question Friday, hosted by Mama M at My Little Life.


1. Would you go to your high school reunion?
Probably not, unless it was held in South Florida.  I went to school in New York, and traveling up there for a high school reunion is not high on the priority list.  If it were held here I would definitely go.  It's not an impossibility either - lots of my schoolmates have moved down to Florida.  I'm sure a reunion is feasible.

2. What's something that you've recently splurged on; either for yourself or someone else?
I don't regularly splurge.  As a matter of fact, splurging is an unknown term in my house.  I did buy myself a couple of skirts at the outlet mall for $15 each.  And I took the family to a Japanese restaurant for my son R's birthday - buffet, $11.95 per person, all you can eat.  I don't know that any of those qualifies for splurges, but for me it certainly does.

3. How do you handle your child's fever?
Tylenol, and wet compresses.  If it goes up to 103 degrees it's time to go to the doctor.

4. What's the nicest thing to happen to you lately?
After volunteering at our old church, I received a hand written thank you card from the pastor.  I thought that was kind and thoughtful.

5. What is your current favorite song?
I never have just one favorite song, so that makes it hard.  I love 10,000 Reasons by Matt Redman, Blessings by Laura Story, and I really really love Whom Shall I Fear by Chris Tomlin.  Oh!  And there's this awesome song by Rend Collective Experiment called Build Your Kingdom Here.  It sounds like Irish folk music.  Super cool!

Five Question Friday

After a long and productive day - in which I found the perfect birthday gift for my oldest son - I can now sit back and get my Five Question Friday post done.  Join Mama M and the gang at My Little Life.


1. What advice would you give a newly married couple?
Proverbs 3:5-6.  "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths."  It's my life verse and perfect advice for starting out life together.

2. Who does more laundry around your house?
I do all the laundry as far as washing, separating and often putting away.  The kids help to put away if they're at home.

3. What items, if any, do you prefer to buy organic or make yourself?
I don't buy anything organic, at least not on purpose.  I enjoy cooking and baking so anything I can make myself I consider fun.  One thing I enjoy making from scratch is pancakes.  I find that they taste better than the box stuff and are not much more work.

4. What book/TV series would you recommend for a friend on bedrest?
I would definitely recommend reading your Bible while on bedrest.  To go with it, I'd suggest the Bad Girls of the Bible series by Liz Curtis Higgs.  Those books are an excellent read, hard to put down.

5. So, they say it's Spring now...what does your "spring" look like at this very moment?
We're getting a lot of rain right now.  It's strange because our weather has been so extremely dry, more so than I can ever remember in South Florida, and now the humidity is coming back.  We get one day rain and one day sunny and very dry.  It's pretty unusual for us.

Five Question Friday

I've been busy today shopping for a barbecue grill - yes, I'm finally going to get one! - and now it's time to sit back and answer some Five Question Friday, courtesy of Mama M at My Little Life.


1. What is one thing you wish you did not have to teach your children?
I guess that one's pretty simple - the whole "birds and bees" conversation.  Especially with the boys.

 2. What are you going to use since Google Reader is going away?
What's Google Reader?  (Obviously I'm not upset about it going away).

 3. British comedy; Hilarious or strange?
I've watched some British comedy that is very funny, while other stuff is either dark comedy or overly cynical. You just have to find what you like.

 4. Do you prefer card games or board games?
I love both, but if I had to choose I'd pick...both.

 5. Will winter ever end?
LOL!  What's funny is that our winter had been extremely mild till March, when the temps started to dip into the upper 40's and low 50's every morning.  It's like winter showed up right before spring.  The afternoons are in the 70's, so for us spring is pretty much here.  Which makes me very happy.

Five Question Friday

Is it Friday already?  Is it March already?!  Spring quickly approaches, and this month promises to bring new and exciting things.  Let's start with these 5 questions, courtesy of Mama M at My Little Life.


1. What was the most productive thing you have done this week?
You mean other than the mountains of laundry? :P  Let's see, I vacuumed a couple of times, but with our dog shedding all the time it doesn't look like much was done.  I cleared out the yard as best as I could, but we don't have a lawn mower anymore so the grass is starting to take over (thankfully we haven't gotten TOO much rain).  I'll tell ya, there are times I feel like I'm running on a hamster wheel; I'm going non-stop but never getting anywhere.

2. Enjoying the winter or ready for spring?
We've had a mild winter this year.  Quite frankly, it felt like spring for much of January and February.  This weekend looks like the coldest we're gonna get, in the mid to low 40's.  I'm looking forward to spring only because everyone starts planting flowers which makes everything colorful.

3. Are you an introvert or extrovert? Is your spouse the same as you?
I am most definitely an introvert, which is probably why I married an extrovert.  It was good at times; he could take over the socializing when I felt overwhelmed by the crowds.  Other times, though, I was expected to be an extrovert as well.  You can't make a person be what you think they should be.  It doesn't work that way.

4. Would you rather go without music or television for 1 year?
I could easily go without television for a year.  It's not like there's much to watch on it anyway.  Music, however, would be a burden to let go of.

5. Have you ever been truly scared of someone?
Not that I can think of.  Not scared like I won't approach them or feel threatened by them.  As a kid I found some adults to be intimidating but not necessarily scary.

1. What is a hobby you would love to learn and why?
I'd love to learn to play a musical instrument so I can join my daughter in a jam session.

2. What do you wish you could have delivered to your house but does not deliver?
I think it would be pretty cool if Walmart delivered so I wouldn't have to deal with their long lines.  Of course I would never have them deliver because I'd refuse to pay delivery charges.

3. What's your favorite snow day activity? Inside and out?
We don't get snow in South Florida.  When it's snowing in your neck of the woods, we like to barbecue.  Don't hate me.

4. Would you meet a stranger from an Internet dating site?
No!  I've watched too much Investigation Discovery shows to do anything that crazy.

5. If you had to spend 35 hours in a car with 4 other people, who would you choose?
I can't imagine anyone wanting to spend 35 hours in a car with me, quite frankly.  Let's see, who would I torture?  My kids, of course.  And my sister, because she's younger than me and has to mind her older sis ;).

It's another Teacher's Planning Day, so my son is off from school, making this feel more like a Saturday than a Friday.  Thank goodness for Mama M and my Five Question Friday post to remind me what day it is!  Visit My Little Life to answer your five questions too.


1. What is your favorite book to read with your kids?
Since my youngest is now 13 and can read all by himself, we typically read the Bible together and any book that he gets from school for his reading class to review for tests.  The last book we read together for school was The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.

2. After having kids, what body part has changed the most?
Duh.  My waistline.  It isn't what it used to be.  It's almost non-existent actually.

3. Would you ever go back to college? What would you study?
I might study interior design since it's a topic that interests me.  Or I could go to Bible college and have a  more in depth study of Scripture.  But then, there's a 99.9% chance I would not go back to school.  I consider myself done in that respect.

4. How do you close a phone call? Bye, bye bye or other?
If it's a business call, I end with, "Thank you, goodbye."  If it's a close friend or family member, then I say, "Love you, bye."

5. What is the one food that will always be your "cheat food" on a diet?
Chips.  Especially with like, chunky salsa.  That is my weakness.

1. Do you embrace or dread snow/cold weather days?
I used to dread them, back when I lived up north, in my youth.  Now that I live in South Florida, we get very few cold days and no snow days.  I'm very happy here.

2. Which game show or reality show could you totally win?
I don't think I'd do well at any of them.  I'm not competitive, nor am I athletic.  I like playing games but I don't care if I win or lose, I just like having fun and laughing at silly answers.

3. What is your preferred climate?
Our spring and fall climate in Florida is incredible.  Days are warm but not hot, and the humidity stays low.  There's plenty of rain in the spring months, less in the fall, but even those rainy days are pleasant.  Our winters are nice too, drier and slightly cooler.  Summers are brutal; the temps are high and the humidity is higher.  I like days that are sunny, breezy and warm.

4. What do you buy every time you walk into the grocery store, no matter what?
Bagged salads.  I like the convenience of having the lettuce and veggies all chopped up for me so I can serve them up quick.

5. If you see a spider/bug in the house, are you brave enough to kill it, or do you call for your hubby?
Most bugs I can kill myself so long as I have my can of Raid nearby.  I can squish a spider, no prob, but those big cockroaches (known here as Palmetto bugs) must be sprayed.  They're nasty to squish.

It's quiet on the home front this morning.  There's no school because it's a teacher's planning day, so everyone else is asleep.  That's great, because now I can post my Five Question Friday in peace.  You can too, if you just hop on over to Mama M's, My Little Life.


1. If you were going to be stuck on a deserted island, which 5 books, movies, people and foods would you take along?
My Bible would HAVE to be with me.  I'd need God's word to guide me.  Thankfully my sister gave me a Nook so I can have loads of books on one gadget, which is great since I love to read. I'm not much into movies, and anyway there wouldn't be any electricity on a deserted island so that would be a waste.  People, hmm...I'd want my kids with me, but would I sacrifice their happiness by having them stuck with me on a deserted island?  I don't think so.  As for foods, I need plenty of water, and raisins.  I munch on raisins all the time.

2. What is your thought on year round school?
I wouldn't have a problem with it, but if my son sees this he will have a fit.  No child wants year-round school.  I see the advantage of finishing earlier, of not having an interruption in their learning, of keeping them off the streets and out of trouble.  I'm just afraid of parents wanting year round school so they can have free child care during the summer.

3. What is your most embarrassing potty story? (Can't be one of your kids' potty stories either!) Hee Hee! This cracks me up and stems from a HILARIOUS twitter conversation...
I don't have any embarrassing potty stories that don't involve my kids.  And I'm happy for that.

4. What's the temperature where you are?
It's chilly this morning!  We woke up to 56 degrees and cloudy - a big change from the upper 60's and lower 70's we've been having all month long, every morning.  My son says he heard on the news that we beat the record for most days in the 80's in January.  I did mention we're in South Florida, didn't I?

5. Are you a winter/spring/fall/summer person?
I love the fall.  Here in South Florida, summers are brutal.  Temps are high and humidity is higher.  When October rolls in, the humidity starts to drop and the temps get more moderate.  The change is quickly felt and appreciated.

1. Flu mist? Flu shot? Or take your chances?
I take my chances.  I've heard the flu shot can give adverse reactions, such as flu-like symptoms.  I don't get the flu often so I prefer to pray and leave it in God's hands.

2. Do your kids have iPads? What are some good educational apps? Price?
None of my kids have iPads.  My daughter has a Mac Book, and my two older kids have Nooks, so neither has seen the need to spend money on an iPad.  My youngest son just got a new laptop and he's happy enough with that.

3. What are your favorite boy/girl baby names?
If I had more children (which will only happen if I adopt) I would name my son Isaac and my daughter Rebecca.  I think that's a nice combo.  I also like Benjamin and Nathalie.

4. If an apple a day keeps the doctor away, which apple do you choose to eat? (red/green, gala, red delicious...)
I love royal gala apples.  They are not overly sweet but very juicy.

5. What is your favorite place to escape to for peace & quiet, to think? Why?
The bathroom, because I can lock the door and ignore the people on the other side.  Don't judge me.  If you're a mom you've done it at least once.

Five Question Friday

Good Friday morning to ya!  Winter break has gone by fast, and lives are starting to get back to normal.  My son has quite a bit of homework still that needs to get caught up, but since he's still asleep I think I'll get down to my five questions courtesy of Mama M at My Little Life.


1. Have you set any goals/resolutions for 2013?
I don't make resolutions but I do think we should always have goals in our lives, not just during the new year.  My goal is to be a more compassionate person, listening to people and trying to understand their hardships instead of immediately thinking they need to get over it (bad habit of mine).  I also am continuing my goal of eliminating credit card use.  I always pay my credit card at the end of the month so I don't have credit card debt per se, but I was spending way too much on my card only to have to cut corners at the end of the month or, worse, pull money from savings to pay the bills.  I've already cut my credit card spending in half and I'm working at reducing it even more.  God has been consistent in guiding and rewarding me as I go.

2. Have you made any travel/vacation plans for 2013?
Nope.  It's not in the budget at this time.

3. What room is never cleaned in your house?
There is no room in my house that is never cleaned.  Even the garage gets cleaned at least every other month.  I would have a conniption if there was a room in my house that never got cleaned.  It's just not in my nature.

4. What food must be in your house at all times?
Bacon.  Need I say more?

5. Are you a hugger or more of a hands off person?
I am not a touchy feely person at all.  I don't mind giving a kiss or even a hug as a greeting, but after that everyone needs to keep their hands to themselves.  Cooties and all that, you know ;).

Five Question Friday

As the year winds down, I realize how hectic my life has been this month.  Decorating, baking, church services, birthdays (3 in our house), Christmas Day, and we still have New Years to look forward to.  I'm gonna add some normalcy to my life by joining in the Five Question Friday hop, hosted by Mama M at My Little Life.


1. If you had to give 1 million dollars to just one person (not your spouse), who would it be and why?
I would give my 1 million dollars to Jesus.  He has given me eternal life, and after all everything we have belongs to Him.  I would use it to pay for the building our old church is going to start construction on next year so that more people can come to know Christ.

2. What bathroom stall do you typically go to FIRST?
I always go to the first empty stall furthest from the bathroom door.  It's one of those OCD issues of mine where things should be done in order, and picking a random bathroom stall or going for the one closest to the door is out of order.

3. How do you prefer to shop: In-store or online?
For clothing I like to shop in the store so I can try on the clothes before purchasing them.  I don't trust sizes and I don't like returning stuff.  Now, for other things, such as electronics, or books, or movies, that kind of stuff, nothing beats Amazon.

4. What's the weather like in your neck of the woods?
Our weather has been up and down this month.  It gets up into the 80's, down into the 50's, up into the 70's, down into the 60's, back up into the 80's and so forth.  We've had very little rain though a few humid days.  Mostly lots of sunshine.

5. Do you own a pair of Tom's and what do you think? Overrated, underrated or about right?
I don't own any but my daughter has about 3 pair, and she raves about them.  I got her a pair for her birthday and she is in shoe heaven.  As far as she's concerned, there are no better shoes on the planet.

Five Question Friday

Welcome to this very special addition of Five Question Friday.  Why special, you ask?  Because it's my birthday!  I'm so extremely blessed and thankful for another year, another month, another day.  And so, here are my festive five questions courtesy of Mama M at My Little Life.  Let's give it a go.


1. If you bake during the holidays, what is your favorite thing to make?
I bake cakes and take them around to our neighbors.  I use Duncan Hines cake mixes but I jazz them up so they turn out better than going by the recipe.  My neighbors look forward to our yearly visits.

2. Present giving: Gift bag vs wrapped box?
I like the way wrapped boxes look under the tree.  Whenever I can I wrap, but some gifts require a bag just because of the shape.

3. What do you keep your thermostat on during the winter/summer in your house?
Hahaha!  I only just turned the air conditioner off today because the temperatures finally got down into the 60's this morning.  We have central heating and a/c, and when we finally turn the heater on (once or twice a year) the poor unit goes into shock, LOL!

4. When thinking of your "Christmas to-do list" what percentage "done" are you?
As far as shopping goes, I'm done.  Everything is purchased and under the tree, except for my son E's special present which will be here on Christmas Eve.  Next week I'll be baking and delivering cakes to my neighbors.  I might mix it up a bit and bake some banana bread or cookies as well.  I usually leave that till the week before Christmas though.

5. Do you do the "Elf on a Shelf"? If so, is your Elf naughty and what shenanigans has he gotten into?
I've never done the Elf on a Shelf.  My youngest is turning 13 this month and considers himself too old for that kind of stuff (though I'll bet if I did it he'd still enjoy it).

Five Question Friday

It's Friday!  Yay!!  It means I don't have to get up early tomorrow morning ;).  It also means it's time for Five Question Friday, courtesy of Mama M at My Little Life.


1. How many times have you moved and do you have any tips?
Not counting childhood, it's been...7 times.  When stayed very little time in the apartments we rented.  Once we bought our condo we stayed put for 5 years until we bought our current house.  We've been here 12 1/2 years.

2. Do you have a budget for the holidays, or just keep sliding the credit card and have a heart attack in Jan?
I made it a point not to use the credit card for Christmas purchases.  This is something the Lord has laid on my heart, to stop using the credit card altogether.  It's a process; I used to charge pretty much everything on my card then pay the full amount when the bill was due.  I realized I was spending way too much money that way.  Now I use the card for groceries and gas only.  So I had to have a budget for presents, or else I'd be bankrupt.

3. What is the one medical thing you avoid like the plague?
Diabetes.  It runs in my family, so I do whatever I can to eat right and stay in shape so as to avoid it.  (This is said as I suck on a candy cane).


4. What your least favorite Christmas song?
Baby It's Cold Outside.  For one, it has nothing to do with Christmas.  Secondly, if any guy said to my daughter the things that guy says in the song to his girl, I'd spend Christmas in jail.

5. This Christmas are you spending more, less or about the same? Why?
I've definitely spent less this year.  I love giving gifts, but I also realize this holiday has become all about getting.  We've allowed Christ to be an insignificant part instead of the whole reason for the Christmas holiday.  I want to take the focus away from the gift and put it where it belongs, on The Giver of life.

1. What do you give teachers for gifts?
If it's lady teachers I might get a scented candle or gift basket, but typically a good gift is a gift certificate to Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts.

2. Do you text? One finger texter or total pro?
I do text, quite frequently since it seems to be the only way to communicate with kids nowadays.  I use my thumbs for texting.  Both of them.

3. Do you give back during the holidays? If so, in what way/which is your favorite charity?
Yes, I do make an effort to give during the holidays (and the rest of the year, because needy people are needy all year long).  I like giving through Samaritan's Purse.  This worthy organization is run by Franklin Graham, son of evangelist Billy Graham.  They help people all over the world who are in need.  Check them out.

4. If you would've been the sole winner of the 575+ million dollar Powerball jackpot, what would you have done with all that money?
I'd give most of it to a worthy charity.  See question #3.

5. Will you please take just a moment to spread the word and pray about my friend's missing family members? There still is no news, and I can't imagine their pain and worry. Facebook prayer page: Prayers for Trista, Shy and Matt.

Five Question Friday

Mama M is enjoying some fun time in Orlando, Florida (Disney World, yay!) so I got my five questions off of Pamela's blog, Troop Petrie.

1.  What snacks/drinks do you eat at the movies?
None.  I refuse to pay the astronomical prices for some popcorn and soda, especially since popcorn ends up messing with my digestive system and I don't drink soda anymore.  All the other stuff is so unhealthy I don't want to touch it.  We eat before going to the movies, and if it's an extra long movie, I'll bring some vanilla yogurt covered raisins with me.

2.  What's one food you refuse to try?
Mushrooms.  There's something about eating fungus that sounds unappetizing.

3.  What's your favorite nail polish color?
I like pinks, reds, and bronzes.  I totally dislike blue, green, orange, all the wild colors that are in style now.  I must be getting old.

4.  What is your favorite Thanksgiving tradition?
Watching Miracle on 34th Street.  To me it kicks off the holiday season, starting with Thanksgiving Day and the Macy's Parade and ending on Christmas Day.  It's such a heartwarming movie too.

5.  What are your least favorite words in the English language?
Two words I can't stand to hear my children say to me:  "Yeah, but..."  Their insistence on contradicting my instructions irritates me to no end.

Five Question Friday

My allergies have been bugging me as of late, so I took a Benadryl a little while ago.  It's making me sleepy, so I'm gonna go ahead and get my Five Question Friday post done before I conk out.  You can too - just hop on over to Mama M's at My Little Life.


1. If you had c-section do you wish you would have had vaginal? Or vice versa?
I had 3 c-sections, and I wish I could have had all vaginal.  Recovery time with c-sections is murder.  I didn't dilate so after 15 hours of contractions they went ahead and cut me open.  I was totally bummed.

2. If vaginal did you go drug free?
Three c-sections, the first two I was put under, the third I had an epidural.

3. Did you have any complications?
With my last pregnancy I had placenta previa so it was a delicate situation, but thank God nothing serious happened.

4. Who was in the delivery room with you?
For the first two, no one.  They were emergency c-sections and no one was allowed in the OR.  For the third c-section my husband was in the room.

5. Did you document your labor and delivery? (Photos, videos, etc.)
I refused to have pictures taken of me during labor (let's face it, women don't look or feel their best at that time).  Since no one was in the delivery room with me for the first two I have no pictures of those deliveries either.  I do have pictures of the third.

6. Pick the birth story of one of your children and tell us ALLLLLLLL about it!
Okay, well, I'll try to make this a quick recap.  My oldest son was born on his due date.  I had just stopped working on Wednesday, and my water broke early Friday morning, about 2 am.  The amniotic fluid was gushing, to the point that I arrived at the hospital and soaked the entry floor.  I was so embarrassed!  I was taken upstairs and put in a bed with a monitor on my belly.  It was uncomfortable, and I was in pain, and when I was checked I was at 2 centimeters, which told me this was gonna take a long time.  And it did.  My son wasn't born till 5:01pm.  I wasn't allowed to walk around to help my contractions because my water had broken.  I couldn't move around much because of the monitors.  To help with the pain I was given Demerol, which made me feel so light-headed I couldn't open my eyes but I still felt the contractions.  It was so uncomfortable, and felt so unproductive.  If I'd known then what I know now, I'd have opted for a home birth!  Of course once I woke up (still in pain and unable to move) and saw my gorgeous son, I forgot about the whole ordeal.  He was worth every minute of it.

1. What terrifies you the most?
Rats.  I can deal with most critters, so long as they don't land on me or touch me.  But rats, I can't even see on television.  Matter of fact, I'm thinking about them now and I'm starting to shiver.

2. Favorite fall/winter drink?
Right now it's pumpkin spice tea.  I found it at our local Winn-Dixie, and it's delicious!

3. Do you and your spouse have the same political views?
My spouse and I aren't together, but yes, he basically would ask me how he should vote so it's safe to say we have the same political views.

4. What was the last book you read? Was it any good?
I recently finished reading Hurricanes in Paradise and enjoyed it very much.

5. Do you look forward to the snow each winter? Why or why not?
My kids always look forward to snow, and they've been disappointed every year.  I think the last time it snowed in South Florida was in the early 1970's, and I don't see it happening again anytime soon (watch us get flurries this year just to shut me up, LOL!).

Happy Friday!  Today actually feels more like a Saturday since there's no school (teacher planning day).  We're working on my son's science fair project.  He has a headache and a slight fever, so he's taking some time to rest, and in the meantime I'll join Mama M at My Little Life for some Friday questions.


1. Who wakes up in the morning with the kids, you or hubby?
That would be, and always has been, me.

2. Do you watch the World Series even if your team isn't in it?
I don't even watch the World Series when my hometown team IS in it.  I don't care for watching sporting events on television.  I don't care to watch them in person.  I am not a sports lover in any way.

3. What is the best compliment you have received?
I've been asked a couple of times if I'm a teacher because I have such patience with kids.  I consider that a compliment because a) I love kids, and b) I think teachers are gifted individuals who don't get enough credit for all that they do.

4. Do/did you dress up to take your kids trick or treating?
Nope, never.  I've never felt the urge to.

5. Do you have a favorite bible verse? What is it and why?
I have many Bible verses that I love, but my all-time favorite is Proverbs 3:5-6 - "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths."  I think the reason is self-explanatory.

1. Where do you hide junk when people come over?
I don't have junk to hide.  No, really.  The junk belongs to my kids :P.  It gets stashed in their rooms.

2. Do political ads help you decide who you are going to vote for?
No, because I neither watch them nor read them.  Political ads don't give information about the candidate, they just bash the incumbent, and that doesn't help me in the least.

3. What's your favorite holiday party to host?
Thanksgiving, because I love cooking and I love eating.

4. You go to an island with your husband and can only take one personal item. What is it?
My Bible.  It goes with me on every vacation.

5. If you found out your spouse was a Dexter style serial killer (only kills people to save others) would you rat?
If I found out my spouse was a serial killer of any kind, I'd need resusitating first, then I'd rat.  It wouldn't be right to let people be killed by someone who has decided they have the right to determine who deserves to live and who doesn't.

Five Question Friday

Finally Friday!  Why does the rest of the week go soooo slooowly, and the weekend zooms by?  Oh well, I don't care, I'm gonna enjoy the beginning of this weekend, with a Five Question Friday post, courtesy of Mama M at My Little Life.

1. Did you have any homecoming traditions?
Nope, none.  Our church now has homecoming week for the school, so other than the football game everything is for the students and their families.

2. Do you ask your spouse before spending money?
For very large expensive purchases, yes.  Otherwise, no.  I'm a big girl.  I know not to spend frivolously.

3. If you could be famous for something what would it be?
I don't think I'd ever want to be famous, but if it was so, I'd like it to be for something worthwhile, like a good deed.

4. Have you ever seriously thought you were going crazy?
Duh.  Motherhood does that to all of us, especially when we're sleep deprived.

5. How do you eat your steak? Burger? (as in, well done, medium, still moo-ing...)
Medium well.  I don't like it overcooked, but I also don't want to see it dripping blood.  Slightly pink works for me.
