Observing My Senses

For Today, December 10, 2011...

I am seeing...clouds covering the skies.  More rain expected for today and maybe tomorrow.  Too bad the temps are still in the 70's and low 80's.  I'd like them to go down for Christmas.

I am feeling...joy at having my daughter home, and sadness that my oldest son isn't here.  Hopefully he will be home for Christmas.  I don't think I could handle Christmas without all my babies near.

I am hearing...my youngest son and daughter talking.

I am tasting...pancakes and syrup.  My son E insisted I make them for "his sister".  Sure, no problem.

I am smelling...breakfast scents.  My favorite meal of the day.

It just takes a moment to observe your surroundings.  Won't you join me?
