Observing My Senses

For today, December 17, 2011...

I am seeing...a blue sky and palm trees swaying in the breeze.

I am feeling...sadness, because my mother will require bypass surgery and she is very upset over it.  Terrified, actually.  We are praying fervently.

I am hearing...my daughter singing praise songs.  It helps to praise the Lord in these circumstances.

I am tasting...nothing right now.  Had a bagel thin sandwich, just salami and mayo.  Not too much of an appetite.

I am smelling...cupcakes that just came out of the oven.  Taking some to my son's Sunday school class tomorrow.

It just takes a moment to observe your surroundings.  Wont' you join me?
