Observing My Senses

For Today, March 24, 2012...

I am seeing...a new day dawning, brightness from the sunlight shining on my newly polished floors.

I am feeling...thankful to be alive, content because I got all the backyard grass cut, and the soreness of an elbow I smacked against a corner wall.  Oh well, no one said life would be perfect.

I am hearing...the clock ticking, a bird chirping outside, and otherwise, quiet.  My son is still asleep :)

I am tasting...nothing yet, breakfast momentarily.

I am smelling...sausages sizzling on the stove, coffee brewing in the pot, biscuits in the oven.

It just takes a moment to observe your surroundings.  Won't you join me?
