It's not even 8pm and it's pitch black outside - signs of seasonal changes. The day is coming to an end, so I better get my MQAM post in! With this blog hop, Heather at
Acting Balanced gives 4 questions to answer, and the option to ask a fifth question of my own. Here I go!
1. How often do you shop for groceries? Do you shop in one place or many?
I go grocery shopping once a week, usually on Fridays. I like going early in the morning so there aren't as many people in the store. I go to our local Winn-Dixie for the sales, meats and produce. I shop at Costco for bulk items like toilet paper, coffee (what, you don't buy coffee in bulk?), and the like. Publix has the best deli meats so that's where I get my ham, cheese, salami, etc. The rest I get at Walmart. It seems like a lot, but the Winn-Dixie is right by my son's school, Costco and Walmart are a few blocks from each other, and Publix isn't far either.
2. How old were you when you had your first taste of alcohol?
I guess about 13, maybe sooner. My mom gave me wine to taste.
3. How much TV do you watch?
If by TV you mean network television, virtually none. I do enjoy watching movies on Netflix, along with old shows like Leave It To Beaver or The Andy Griffith Show. Now for the holidays we'll watch lots of Christmas DVD's on the television.
4. How do you relieve stress?
I find that taking a long walk while I meditate helps relieve stress. We have a park across the street from our house, and our neighborhood is quiet, so using that time for prayer and mediation helps relax me.
And now my question:
5. How long have you been blogging?
I started blogging July 2008, when we put our dog Tobey down due to illness. I was going through a lot during that time, and I found blogging to be a way to get my emotions down. It's been over 4 years now.

Oh wow. Sorry about your dog. I'm not sure I would've started a blog had that happened when Inky had died. My original blog started in 2005 and the only way I know that is checking how long I've been paying for that domain lol. My other blog is just a baby and has been up just over a year.
I started blogging in 2004. So, for about eight years. Though I sometimes have a writer's block, I enjoy blogging now.
I started in 2007 (5 years) as a way to promote the book I wrote in memory of my dad called "My Funny Dad, Harry."
I've been blogging about 3 and one-half years, and I still enjoy it!
Thanks for stopping by yesterday :)
I have been blogging for almost three years and I find that I go through cycles of enjoying it.... I often feel bad when I don't go back to other bloggers and leave comments...
Started 3 years ago while husband was in Iraq just to update him. took a year off from my unedited, middle of the night, posted blog and then moved those posts to my current blog after editing them. LOL That was when I made it so other people could read it more also and began doing reviews. So that was November last year.
